NOTE : There is still a very mild natural scent if smelling the opened Jar which changes with use – But while lathering it is Scentless.
Hand Crafted in France using a very ancient hard drying technique with ONLY 6 Natural VEGAN Ingredients.
Known as the Best Shaving Soap in the world it easily makes an incredible huge and abundant quantity of lather with just few swirls of the brush.
I literally counted six light swirls of the brush on the soap and this was enough to make a quantity of lather more than enough for my usual three passes.
The lather is of excellent quality, very tiny bubbles and sometimes none at all, excellent water retention, creamy and slick.
Wonderful sensation on the skin, fresh & light with an excellent moisturizing effect, the razor slides easily & comfortably, no signs of skin irritations using Martin De Candre Shaving Soap at all.
No need to rinse off after Shaving just towel dry the Shaved face as Martin De Candre Shaving Soap has excellent Post Shave After Shave Properties.
In Summary : An excellent shave soap, certainly of superior quality, amazing for the very small quantity needed to get a rich and luxurious lather.
Literally a few swirls on the soap with a moderately soaked Shaving brush gives a rich and creamy lather with a very good water retention.
One of the very best Shaving Soaps I have ever tried, although quite expensive – but you really need a microscopic quantity – this certainly is a must for every wet shaver.
No skin irritation at all after Shaving, leaving a smooth feeling skin with a pleasing fresh and clean sensation.
This soap is a great example of how quality can make a difference in soap making.

This MDC Nature shaving soap is classic. For those of us who have been buying this product for years, it’s no surprise. But for those coming into the world of Double Edge shaving this product has no equal. I almost never wrote this review for fear of of making it too popular. But I can’t deny the next generation. I am in my mid 50’s and have enjoyed and loved this product for years and years. I am relatively new the world of double edge shaving, having been sucked into the convenience of cartridge blades. But now, those days are gone. I’m back to the single razor blade double edge safety razor and embracing the age of the days of my fathers. Get on board. It’s more than shaving. It’s who you are.

I have sensitive skin that means I can’t use most of the well scented artisan shaving soaps out there this Martin De Candre Unscented ( NATURE ) Shaving soap is the BOMB!!!! I use daily and it never upsets my skin. Ive been using the same jar for 8 months now and it is still full – best value for money shaving soap out there.

Martin de Candre NATURE shaving soap is the best unscented shaving soap I have tried. Very soft on my face and it really isn’t that expensive when you factor in that It will last you for more shaves than a half dozen tubs of your typical artisan shaving soap tubs. Using this Martin De Candre Unscented NATURE makes shaving feel special. Great no scent shaving soap, nice creamy lather, and my very sensitive skin is not bothered by it in the least! I’ll continue to purchase.
