Mitchells Wool Fat™ Shaving Soap is a Hard Triple Milled Shave Soap and has Glycerin and Lanolin as part of its ingredients :
Glycerin – which causes the Soap lather to absorb and hold more water and an excellent skin conditioner.
Lanolin – which is the Fatty Oil which comes from Sheeps Wool –
( which is now included in some Shave Soap formulas since it was discovered that Sheep Shearers who constantly handled sheep’s wool had unusually soft and smooth hands.

Mitchells Wool Fat™ Shave Soap also simply known as ” MWF ” & ” The Fat ” has a very simple and light fresh soap scent.
Some users of this excellent Shave Soap have problems creating a good lather when in an area with hard water ( you can always try bottled water if this is the case ) or ( turn it into a softer Shave Soap by adding water to the puck over the course of several days. When the puck stops absorbing water, pour off any remaining water and you are left with a soft version of MWF which is very easy to lather ) – but most Shavers find it very simple to lather and are rewarded by its performance during Shaving and its post shave skin conditioning and feel.
