Description
RazoRock GOAT Double-Edge Safety Razor – CNC 316L Stainless Steel
Introducing the RazoRock GOAT, a masterfully crafted safety razor that pays homage to the iconic German 34 razor, whose patent expired in the mid-1970s. Many believe this German 34 razor is the “G.O.A.T.” in safety razors which is an acronym used to call something the “greatest of all time”. Our RazoRock GOAT is designed as an homage to this razor and is precision-engineered in Ontario, Canada. The RazoRock GOAT is CNC milled on a state-of-the-art German 5-axis machine from billet 316L stainless steel known as “Marine Grade Stainless Steel” for its exceptional hardness, durability, and corrosion resistance in wet environments. This makes it the perfect material for a safety razor built to withstand the test of time.
The RazoRock GOAT combines cutting-edge technology with timeless design. Its razor head is 3D milled to achieve tolerances tighter than any other razor on the planet—far surpassing what cast and chrome-plated razors can offer. The result is a flawless blade fit every time, with no need for manual alignment thanks to the cleverly designed head that securely covers the blade tabs for added safety. Available with your choice of a short RazoRock hollowed HD handle or as a standalone head, this 3-piece razor also features an M5 x .8 threaded design, giving you the freedom to pair it with any compatible handle of your preference.
Crafted for those who demand the highest quality, the GOAT is finished using a 3-stage mechanical vibrating process, ensuring unparalleled precision that manual polishing and buffing simply can’t match. Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce that in the coming months we will also be adding a “+” baseplate option will be available for shavers seeking an even more aggressive shave.
Built to last lifetimes with proper care, the RazoRock GOAT is more than just a razor—it’s a heavy-duty heirloom piece, destined to be passed down through generations. Elevate your shaving experience with the GOAT: a modern masterpiece inspired by the legendary German 34, reimagined for today’s discerning shaver…dare we say that this razor is even better but we will leave that for you to decide!

Finish: Please note, these razors are tools, not jewels. We use a vibratory tumbling finish process which maintains the highest possible tolerances for the razors. This means the razors will not be mirror finished and will not be mark-free. The razors may have some milling marks or finishing marks. The razors can always be jewelry polished by the client later but our goal is to sell the razor at the best possible tolerances and lowest possible price. The metal-on-metal contact from the handle locking against the base-plate will create a ring mark on the base. It’s common for handles to have micro dents from the tumbled finish.
Finish: 3 stage, 24 hour, machine vibratory finish. It’s important to note that our finish is designed to de-burr and make the pieces smooth with minimum effect on machining tolerances. It’s a tool-like finish and not a mirror-type high polish; each piece is unique (no two pieces will be identical). We don’t believe in hand polishing our machined safety razors because it’s self-defeating. We spend so much time and effort getting the tolerances tight, a hand polish will just ruin these tolerances. We would rather give you a quality tool-like finish at a great price and leave it up to you if you want to put a jewelry type polish or gun-kote at the razor later at additional cost.
Note: Blades are not included

The Goat is nearly precise against the original Weber razor:-
It’s been an interesting experience, I’m glad to see RazoRock has created a razor in stainless steel version of a similar or closer to the original Merkur 34C HD. That, a lot of wet shavers have experience and owned the Merkur 34C or 34G in their own den, it’s a love and hate two piece razors, as YMMV some wet shavers find it, it’s just right, and some find it’s too mild as we all have different experience.
I’ve owned the Merkur 34C since I first started wet shaving many moons ago in my 30s, straight out from cartridge razors and airy can goo crap.
I’ve also owned a Weber razor awhile back since I’ve been hunting them online for years, which is a very close and near precise version of the Merkur 34C, however, it’s a real shame the Weber razor isn’t in production anymore when they offer their stainless steel version due to quality control issue back somewhere in 2010 or 2011.
RazoRock Goat SS gap is slightly wider, and the blade exposure is NOT neutral according to their website at all when comparing side by side with the original 34C. The blade exposure feels like double the rate, because, the RazoRock Goat blade exposure is one step higher against the original Weber razor I’ve owned in my den, when comparing them side by side against the Goat SS.
The Weber razor gap is the same as the 34C, with a slightly more blade exposure, just one step under against the RazoRock Goat blade exposure.
I find the Weber razor the most comfortable and the most enjoyable razor I’ve owned against the Merkur 34C and the Goat SS, the Goat SS blade exposure is a bit too much against the 34C for beginners, who never experience real traditional wet shaving with a double edge blade.
IF, RazoRock Goat drop the blade exposure slightly down a notch, keep the gap the same, and this new Goat SS razor well become near precise as the original Weber razor version.
My rate level blade exposure from high to low.
1. RazoRock Goat.
2. Weber razor
3. Merkur 34C & 34G
