In 17th century Venice, Plague doctors wore a beaked masks filled with sweet smelling dried flowers, herbs and spices. They believed at the time the plague was spread by a noxious form of bad air and that their special fragrant blend would protect them. Plague Doctor Aftershave and Cream Soap was made by Razorock after a trip to Italy, and is based on the “the recipe” which was used by these Plague doctors.
