Saponificio Varesino is a company in Northern Italy, drawing from a 70-year experience in saponification and production of personal care products.
Tundra Artica, like the other Shaving Soaps from Saponificio Varesino come in a thick and hard cardboard box which can be used as a storage container for used Razor Blades.
The Shaving Soap Tundra Artica is Triple Milled and very hard to the touch, much more than many other Shaving Soaps on the market.
Performance Analysis
Extremely easy to load and lather, with standout features of this extraordinary Shaving Soap being : smoothness, protection, skin nourishment, razor cusion and glide and a fusion of powerful skin toners which make the skin more elastic.
The Razor Blade manages to perform with very little resistance. The proper Shaving technique would like us to let the weight of the Razor do the work for us, applying very little pressure and with many Shaving Creams we are often forced to use less finesse to ensure a more satisfying result. Saponificio Varesino Shaving Soaps tends to reverse that equation and shows us how the various elements of Classic Shaving have to cooperate to give us the best results.
It is believed that Shave Soaps that provide greater smoothness tend to protect the skin less, but in this case Saponificio Varesino has pleasantly surprised. The product lather is like a kind of cushion between skin and Razor Blade, which completely protects the skin. The formulations gives a lot of lather. Even after the first rinse, the skin is well nourished, slippery, protected and hydrated.
Shaving ( even the traditional way ) always causes micro trauma to the skin and if we use good and efficient products, we do not undergo further stress and consistently achieve perfectly close Shaves.
