I own dearer shaving brushes but the one I consider the best and use every day now is the Razorock Original Plissoft. A great brush that can whip up a lather either with creams or soaps in no time, very easy to apply the lather and the brush holds enough lather for a three pass shave.

I’ve been wet shaving for nearly 15 years. I’ve had the best badger, silvertip badger, boar and horse-hair brushes in my collection. From Simpsons, Shavemacs, custom made brushes down to the drug store specials. I can honestly say that the value of this brush, by far, outweighs all that have been purchased (and even gifted). It’s my first synthetic brush and I’m blown away at the performance you get with this RazoRock Plissoft. Lather explodes from the puck onto this brush, it takes no more effort to load than a boar or badger. It holds the lather well for enough for two full passes of shaving with leftovers enough to squeeze out to apply in a final face wash (should be plenty for a full three pass shave if desired). It is a high performer on hard soaps and of course a breeze with creams. One of the neatest things about this brush, for me, is how quickly it dries after use. Wash out the brush after use, sling out the water and it’s dried for me in under 4 hours in a well-ventalated area. It feels great in the hand and has enough backbone with the right amount of splay. I guess for me I give this a five-star due to its incredible luxurious softness. As I type that I laugh. It’s so soft I somehow feel I am doing my face a disservice (I like a little ‘scritch’ on my face). With all this said, you really cannot go wrong with this brush though. Take the plunge and enjoy!
