I have about 60+ different shave soaps and this shave soap is the best of all of them. It is well worth the cost. I have used it over 10 times and it still looks unused. The quality and scent are as good as it gets. I enjoy shaving with MdC. If you buy it you will get a great performing shaving soap. The test for me on soaps is…..do I need any pre-shave product to help out? MdC doesn’t need any pre-shave product. I’ve tested it with and without pre-shave oil and the enjoyment doesn’t change. So, if you’re worried whether you will waste your money, no, you won’t.

Lather, glide and cushion are unmatched by anything I have used, including Mitchell’s Wool Fat and Provence Sante Verlaine. The fragrance treats the senses with a strong hint of anise and strains of fennel. That you need only a few swirls of the brush to create a white cloud of luxurious lather adds another star to Martin de Candre.

This Martin De Candre Shaving Soap is a real winner !!! I am so happy I chose the ABSINTHE it smells very very fresh and the mintieness reminds me of Barrister and Mann KALYPTOS which I’m a huge fan of too. The performance is truly amazing just 5-10 swirls of the brush and I get more than enough for 2 passes for shaving. I Love It

Martin de Candre ABSINTHE shaving soap is fantastic, even though you can get a lather with just 5 swirls of the shaving brush on the shaving soap I’m the opposite I use it like I hate it and use the RAZOROCK MONSTER 28mm Shaving Brush which is a large shaving brush and swirl it hard for 30 seconds and the lather just explodes – I really like using this shaving soap and it smells divine
