Hand Crafted in France using a very ancient hard drying technique with ONLY 6 Natural VEGAN Ingredients.
Known as the Best Shaving Soap in the world it easily makes an incredible huge and abundant quantity of lather with just few swirls of the brush.
I literally counted six light swirls of the brush on the soap and this was enough to make a quantity of lather more than enough for my usual three passes.
The lather is of excellent quality, very tiny bubbles and sometimes none at all, excellent water retention, creamy and slick.
Wonderful sensation on the skin, fresh & light with an excellent moisturizing effect, the razor slides easily & comfortably, no signs of skin irritations using Martin De Candre Shaving Soap at all.
No need to rinse off after Shaving just towel dry the Shaved face as Martin De Candre Shaving Soap has excellent Post Shave After Shave Properties.
In Summary : An excellent shave soap, certainly of superior quality, amazing for the very small quantity needed to get a rich and luxurious lather.
Literally a few swirls on the soap with a moderately soaked Shaving brush gives a rich and creamy lather with a very good water retention.
One of the very best Shaving Soaps I have ever tried, although quite expensive – but you really need a microscopic quantity – this certainly is a must for every wet shaver.
No skin irritation at all after Shaving, leaving a smooth feeling skin with a pleasing fresh and clean sensation.
This soap is a great example of how quality can make a difference in soap making.

I bought this soap just out of curiosity, I was fascinated by it.
Used with Razorock Game Changer 84P and Personna Blue I got a perfect shave, using a small amount, it really makes a lot of lather and moisturizes the skin perfectly.
Smells great very fresh and I look forward to shaving everyday now. Ive used it every day for 6 months now and the jar is still full to the top Ill get 2 years of shaving from it for sure.

Martin de Candre is the best shaving soap I have ever used. I only have tried the ORIGINAL Lavender Rosemary and Mint scented version but as soon as it runs out ill be trying the other varieties.

What a fantastic shaving soap is the Martin de Candre Original shaving soap. I did not know which MDC Scent to choose but settled on the Original Scent for its profile of Lavender Mint and Rosemary and its very subtle scent and very refreshing to shave with everyday – I put the Martin de Candre shaving soap as the best I have tried and the best shaving soap in Australia

10/10 Martin De Candre Original Lavender is in a league of its own when it comes to overall slickness. The difference was stark and undeniable. MDC made my Vokshod blade feel like it went from a 6 to a 10 efficiency compared to the other soaps. The soap felt much milkier and more yogurt-like on my face, providing a way thicker barrier of protection for multiple swipes. In contrast, Proraso and Stirling, while good, felt like they provided a thin layer of protection when compared to my new Martin De Candre shaving soap.
