I use shaving oil as a supplement to shaving cream (in my case Proraso). I also tried to shave with the oil only once, but I don’t like it that much – shaving cream just makes it feel better.
The skin is simply one hundred percent better protected by the shaving oil, skin irritations no longer occur at all, and bleeding areas have also vanished. All in all, the shaving result is also better, and the skin simply feels better cared for afterwards. However, I still use aftershave (also from Proraso) after shaving, because the scent of shaving oil is so intense that I personally need to soften it after shaving.
The shaving oil is very economical to use.
For me, this shaving oil is the logical addition to wet shaving!
