Boar Hair ( Bristle ) Shaving Brushes have been the favourite choice of Master Barbers in Italy and other parts of Europe for decades because of their specific and superior qualities when face or bowl Lathering. After a short breaking in period, good quality Boar Hair Shaving Brushes Bristle tips become just as soft as premium badger hair yet the bristles have more backbone or firmness which is a quality of Boar Hair.

Boar Hair Brushes when new have a slight animal odour when wet and usually require a ” Break in ” period which takes between 20-30 Shaves before the ends of the bristles start to split and soften.
RAZOROCK has gone to great measures to bring us these Boar Hair Shave Brushes with the knots already pre treated so they do not have the animal ” Funk ” smell and the process also softens the bristles tips, which greatly lessens the break in period.
The RazoRock Boar Bristle Shaving Brushes require soaking the knot / fibres in warm water before each use. This can be done by half filling a Shaving Mug or coffee cup with warm ( Not Hot ) water and placing the Shave Brush in Fibres First.
